A few weeks ago, I realized I hadn’t bought a new bag in some time. Do not get me wrong, I still absolutely love bags; now, though, my collection is expansive and I am surrounded by luggage every single day, both of which help suppress my consumerism. However, I started to get an itch and realized it was because I wanted a brand new tote. I was yearning to add a fresh touch of spring to my own collection, and since pastels are the new neutral, I began my search.I landed upon the mint version of this Loeffler Randall Rider Bag and pushed sequence as quick as I could. The colour is very beautiful and feminine, a blue-green which screams spring. Since it arrived at my doorstep, I have carried it for 2 weeks straight and have been loving it. I’ll have a full review to come soon, but I wanted to open the dialogue for you to listen to the last handbag you purchased and if you like it. Purchase my brand new bag via ShopBop for $495. With all the sales and purchasing events occurring through the new year break, did you manage to find anything? Discounted designer shoes? Fancy bedsheets? A brand new fridge perhaps??? I didn’t go mad, nor did I purchase a fridge, but I managed to pick up this bag out of the Shopbop Sales.I have been drooling (and saving up) for a Loeffler Randall Handbag (conspicuous Leff-ler) for its longest time.I just LOVE their Rider Bags, that can be so understated, simple and elegant. (Ok perhaps the leopard print bags are not so understated.) I like the bag does not have any branding on it. It is a little mysterious and very low key. It is sleek, simple, minimal, somewhat ordered, but not overly angular. The leather is absolutely stunning, the black upholstery is hot, the lining is fairly, there are 3 pockets and a top handle that pops down and stays flat. There’s something cuter symmetrical and pleasing-to-the-eye about it… and the designer in me just swoons with delight each time I see it.

  • We have written a lot recently about how contemporary designers have an chance to upend the designer handbag marketplace as we know it and which ones are leading the charge, and there is one modern indie that predated them all that we would be remiss not to mention: Loeffler Randall. If Mansur Gavriel was the tipping point from the current marketplace change, then Loeffler was the brand’s most crucial predecessor, and its look today is more applicable than ever while staying very accessible.Loeffler Randall was founded by Jessie Randall in 2005 as a shoe manufacturer and enlarged into handbags in the early 2010s; at various times, the manufacturer has also made clothing and outerwear, but today it concentrates on leather goods. Its perseverance makes it an unlikely indie success story; most independently run brands fail after a few seasons without significant financial backers because overhead costs are high in fashion and the market can be very fickle. What worked in Randall’s favor, however, was that her designs were Instagram-worthy before”Instagram” as a decorative existed–they’re easy and unabashedly feminine without being saccharine or self-conscious, but since the line came about before ~doing it to the aesthetic~ was something, the bags are also practical and grown-up. The cute little bow-tied totes come with shoulder straps, along with the ric rac-trimmed miniature bags come in plain black with no embellishment. The straw bags seem like they’d survive a genuine day in the beach, and also do a good job carrying out your towel, also.

    • The best handle features two blocks of metal that keep the handle in position — these chunks are incredibly sharp at its points. Typically, this isn’t an issue, but I have somehow cut myself (albeit just on the face of my skin) from inadvertently scratching my arm and hand against those edges.Like with most designer buys, you’re paying for quality. In fact, the sole imperfections on this bag were made by me clumsily attempting to get the grip to lock together. Even with my heavy and strangely shaped objects banging on the interior, this satchel never revealed any sign of distress. But perhaps this category would be evaluated in a couple of months so that I will observe the bag’s functionality over time. The total sized Rider retails at $525 and can be about the higher end of this contemporary designer spectrum. However, I rectify the price point by taking a look at the timelessness of this tote. I’ve already worn this bag 8 days from the previous 2 months and I will see myself always reaching for it due to its colour, structure, and dimensions. Concerning price a wear, this tote will most definitely pay off. If this does not cut it for your pocket, the moderate ($475), miniature ($395), and also baby pops ($295) can also be incredibly adorable.

    • It is another tote!! I couldn’t resist the chance to test one of Loeffler Randall’s first luggage out of their brand new handbag line, so I decided to give the Kitty tote a try. I must admitit looked very’interesting’ online, and never have seen it in person, I was somewhat wary of what it’d feel like, and how it would’work.’ But all my doubts faded away after I got it and started carrying it.The leather isn’t as yummy and gentle because a number of my other luggage (Andrew Marc specifically), but it is thick and sturdy, and I love the texture. The clasps and zippers are polished, shiny gold, and very higher quality. The shoulder strap is removable, and the grips are woven leather — which adds a very pleasant, luxurious touch (I would really love it much more if the shoulder strap was adjustable in length so it might be worn messenger style, but what can you do…). The interior is lined with a shimmery gold cloth and contains two side pockets.I carry it mostly with the shoulder strap, but I like to carry it in my shoulder with the grips. Considering that the shoulder strap is thin, it tends to cut in the shoulder after hours of use, so that I alternative carrying it out this way, by hand, or perhaps messenger style, if I’m desperate. Really I carried it to the zoo yesterday for 5 hours of walkingand while it wasn’t the perfect bag, it functioned (held bites, the camera, zoo map, and several other odds and ends) and did not split my back.I’m very pleased with it I love the color and think it looks fantastic with black — and’ve carried it for a couple weeks without getting at all bored.
