That Valentino Bag is Nearing Full-On Jewelry Territory

I’ve always been a small magpie. I’ve probably owned more pairs of silver shoes compared to black in my adult life, I am likely to purchasing costume jewelry which doesn’t fit my personal style simply because it’s so enjoyable and crystal-covered that I want to have it in my possession, I own a shameful tube of glitter eye-liner.

We all have our crosses to bear. Unsurprisingly, when the Valentino Glam Lock Crystal Bag popped up late last week, it had been just like a shot of dopamine straight to my brain’s pleasure centers.

Jewelry bags
Valentino has performed these kinds of jewel-encrusted bags previously, but this one, with its muted usage of silver, gold and ivory and signature studs beneath the hardcore glamour, may be my favorite. It is the sort of treatment that almost any other designer would reserve for a tiny evening bag, but as a leather-based miniature crossbody, this bag could conceivably be taken out for daytime use.

If you’re the type of person who thinks it is logical to eat dessert first because you never know what may happen during supper, then perhaps some serious bling at brunch would also be to your liking. This bag sold out in a matter of days, but it retails for $3,455 through Net-a-Porter, where it is still possible to add it to a wishlist for notification once and if it becomes available.
